Arizona Hall-Of-Fame Karate, Kobudo, Samurai Arts Instructor

 Soke Hausel, began training in Japanese-Okinawa martial arts in 1964. A polymath; he has earned about 2 dozen black belt ranks, including full Shihan (Master of Martial Arts) in Juko Ryu martial arts and certification as Soke (Grandmaster of Shorin-Ryu Karate) by the ZKSBBR. Juko Kai and the ZKSBBR represent one of the largest traditional-combat Okinawa/Japanese/American martial arts associations in the world, led by the Dai-Soke Sacharnoski

Soke taught martial arts at the University of Utah, University of New Mexico, Arizona State University, Golds Gyms, and the Arizona Hombu Dojo. As a Professor of Martial Arts (kyoju) at the University of Wyoming for 30+ years, he taught karate, kobudo, jujutsu, and samurai arts in the departments of Physical Education, Kinesiology, Extended Studies, and Club Sports, while conducting research on gold, base metals, diamond and color gemstone deposits at the Wyoming Geological Survey at UW. For many accomplishments, he received invitations into Halls-of-Fame for both Martial Arts and Geological Sciences. 

He continues to teach martial arts in Gilbert and Mesa, Arizona, and loves to teach traditional martial arts for health and self-defense by offering instruction to adults, seniors, and a few families.  Contact Soke at sokeshodai@yahoo.com for more information.
